1.About COOLPIX CONNECT

COOLPIX CONNECT is a new type of photo sharing service from Nikon. This service makes it possible for owners of Nikon cameras to conveniently send you photos directly from the camera via a WiFi access point. The photos you receive may be freely viewed and downloaded for two weeks from the COOLPIX CONNECT service web site.During this period of time, you can view the photos on the Web site, enjoy slide shows, and of course, download these photos to your own computer. When you’re all done, you can send a Thank-you Note. COOLPIX CONNECT provides a convenient way to tell your friends how much you enjoyed viewing their photos.

1. Photos sent by friends can be downloaded. Download all photos, or just ones that you like.
2. If only selecting some photos for download, place a check mark next to these in the thumbnail screen, then click the Download checked photos button. Downloading of photos starts.
3. To download all photos at once, simply select the Download all photos button to start downloading.
4. To download a zoomed-in photo, simply click Download this photo.
5. Photos can be downloaded for two weeks from the date upon which they were sent to you.

1. You can send a message to the friend that sent you the photos.
2. Click the Thank-you Note button to launch your email client.
3. This opens a new email message window with your friend's and your email addresses filled in.

• Access to a COOLPIX CONNECT web site (site for viewing pictures) is not limited to this Service. A page can be browsed by anyone after the page's URL is provided to them or made public.
• Images uploaded to a COOLPIX CONNECT server via NIKON’s COOLPIX CONNECT service (“Service”) are stored for up to two weeks.
• Nikon makes no guarantees whatsoever concerning the ability of this Service to store or safeguard images. Be sure to maintain separate back-up copies of all important images. Nikon is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages or lost profits resulting from alteration or loss of content (including images) that is not attributable to Nikon.
• Your use of the Service is completely at your own responsibility, and Nikon accept no responsibility on your behalf.
• By using the Service, you agree not to upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit, communicate or make available any material through the Service that is obscene, pornographic, unlawful, threatening, an invasion of any privacy or publicity rights of any party, defamatory, libelous, illegal or otherwise objectionable, or infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or contractual right of any party.
• You hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waive, discharge and release Nikon, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, legal representatives, successors and assigns ("Nikon Parties") from and against any and all claims by you related to any material that is uploaded, posted, e-mailed or otherwise transmitted, communicated, or made available through the Service, including without limitation any claim that such material constitutes an invasion of privacy or publicity, is defamatory, libelous, illegal or otherwise objectionable, or infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or contractual right of any party.
• Furthermore, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Nikon Parties from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' and professionals' fees and litigation costs) related to any material you upload, post, email or otherwise transmit, communicate or make available through the Service.
• You understand that (i) your right to use the Service may be terminated by Nikon and/or (ii) the materials you upload, post, email or otherwise transmit, communicate or make available through the Service may be deleted or removed by Nikon in the event you breach this Terms and Conditions, or any other terms and conditions that Nikon may require in connection with your use of the Service.
• This Service is subject to change, suspension, or termination without notice.
• You acknowledge and agree that any cause of action you may have in connection with any such material shall be against the sender of such material, and not the Nikon Parties.
